Meet Clover: AI Agents That Solve Distribution
We’re building a portfolio of four verticalized SaaS companies (“leafs”) powered by AI agents — each designed to drive revenue for businesses on autopilot.
We’re a small team of acquired founders, growth hackers and creators who have cracked unfair distribution. Every company we build is one we wish had existed when we were starting out, now led by exceptional operators. Our companies average $1M ARR within 6 months.
Been profitable since day 1, with millions of users across our products.
We’ve only just begun.

Our Portfolio
1Price — Maximize revenue with conversion experiments on autopilot

Touchpoint — Inbound voice agent that follows up & calls abandoned leads

RedRover — Growth agent built for virality, replying, and outreach on Reddit
Echos — Get millions of organic views to your product on autopilot
Our model blends the best of private equity, venture studios, and bootstrapping creating a repeatable engine for building & scaling software companies with incredible operators.
We're profitability obsessed, and proudly Canadian 🍁
Our Story
Matt Espinoza and Ryan Kaufman are co-founders and managing partners of Clover. The first portfolio company was Journey+ which was built, scaled, and sold to private equity in 3 months. In the following eight months, they incubated three more companies with incredible operators. Before Halation, Ryan was on the founding team at Copy.ai, Clearco, and Head of Content for Noah Kagan while working with 20+ startups at Atomic VC. Matt scaled companies to millions of users where his first software company was acquired by a $50m company when he turned 19. Halation's mission is simple: build profitable bootstrapped companies with unfair distribution advantages from day one — while sharing our learnings along the way.
Why are we building Clover?
We’ve built and exited multiple companies, scaled SaaS products to thousands of users, and led growth at top startups. Now, we’re applying everything we’ve learned to building AI agents. AI agents are changing how businesses operate — automating tasks, driving revenue, and making teams more efficient with minimal human input. We believe SaaS is the best model to deliver and scale these AI-native experiences.
